California High Speed Rail Central Valley Stations

The new California High Speed Rail system seeks to be the nation’s most sustainable infrastructure project. Bio Studio is leading sustainable design as a member of the Arup - Foster + Partners Joint Venture team designing the first four transit stations with associated landscape, infrastructure and transit-oriented development planning: Merced, Fresno, Kings-Tulare and Bakersfield, California. Sustainability targets for the stations include net-positive energy, with solar PV systems serving decarbonized all-electric buildings, and Envision Platinum certification.
