Living Roof Design for San Francisco BART Station

Bio Studio led the design of green roofs for BART’s 21 new station entry canopies to be installed on Market Street. The new canopies give riders a comfortable and aesthetic station entry experience while the green roofs provide habitat for Tiger Swallowtail Butterflies and other pollinators, providing urban biodiversity and beautiful views from Market Street windows.
